Update on Canadian Tour Players Around the World

With Canadians teeing it up all over the professional tour, here's an early update...

TEXAS OPEN

Mackenzie Hughes started off his round well with an opening 3-under on the front nine. He struggled on the back bogeying three straight holes but sits -1 on his 18th hole.

Corey Conners and Nick Taylor have just started their rounds while Adam Svensson, Ben Silverman and, Roger Sloan have yet to tee off.

DELAET UPDATE

Graham DeLaet updated everyone this week about his progress during his recovery.

He tweeted, "My recovery has been slower than I expected, but I am getting better each day."

He also mentioned about starting his return for the 2019/2020 season which starts in September.

"I want to thank everyone for your support and I can't wait to get back out doing what I love!"

ANA INSPIRATION

Brooke Henderson will tee it up this afternoon in the LPGA's first major of the season.

The only other Canadian in the field this week is Alena Sharp.

AUGUSTA NATIONAL WOMEN'S AMATEUR

Brigitte Thibault is the only Canadian in the field for the first ever ANWA.

Thibault has now finished her first two rounds with a 79 and 75.

Unfortunately, she sits outside the cut line to get her into the final round on Saturday at Augusta National.
