PUMA Golf Will Double Contributions to the Folds of Honor Through Volition America Collection Sales

At the 2019 U.S. Open, PUMA Athlete and renowned U.S. Military supporter, Gary Woodland painted the storied Pebble Beach Golf Links red, with an astonishing 13-under par tournament total to best his nearest competitor by three shots, winning his first-ever Major championship. While painting Pebble red, Gary proudly showcased the red, white and blue of PUMA’s Volition America Collection, but there’s more to his apparel story than just how stylish he looked sporting the colors of our nation.
Beginning in 2017, PUMA partnered with Volition America to launch the Volition America Golf Collection, a patriotic ensemble of products that marries the best of PUMA Golf’s cutting-edge apparel and footwear technologies and styles with Volition America’s focus on patriotism and all things, red, white and blue. Additionally, for the next 48 hours, PUMA will pre-sell a limited number of the custom, buzz-generating IGNITE PWRADAPT Leather Patriot Pack ($200) shoes that Gary wore during the final round, with a portion of proceeds from the sale of the shoes going to support Folds of Honor. Shoes will ship to consumers later this year. The IGNITE PWRADAPT Patriot Pack shoes featured red and white ombre stripes on the upper, with peacoat stars across the midsole and outsole, along with a custom Volition America sockliner.
Lastly – in honor of Gary’s winning 13-under par total, PUMA will sell 13 pairs of the IGNITE PWRADAPT Patriot Pack shoes, labeled with 1 of 13, signed by Gary, with 100% of proceeds supporting the Folds of Honor.
