KELOWNA, British Columbia, Canada (PGA TOUR) — With his dad on the bag, it was a special Father’s Day for George Cunningham as he picked up his maiden Mackenzie Tour – PGA Tour Canada victory, at the GolfBC Championship. He carded a 5-under 66 to win by two shots.
Jared Du Toit claimed the Freedom 55 Financial Canadian Player of the Week Award, and the $2,500 that comes with it, after a fifth place finish. The Kimberely, B.C. native carded five birdies offset by just a single bogey en-route to his best career Mackenzie Tour finish.
