In this month’s BC edition of the Inside Golf Digital Magazine, our cover story once more features the rebirth of Sagebrush Golf Course outside Merritt, B.C. In this case, British Columbia Golf Tournament Director and PGA of BC member Doug Hastie dropped by to play a round and was pleasantly reminded that golf is indeed a game...and one we must remember to ‘play at.’
You can also read about another rebirth of sorts as Morningstar Golf Club recently kicked off their 30th anniversary celebration by announcing they are no longer in receivership and looking forward to regaining a position as one of Vancouver Island’s premier golf destinations.
There are also the wrap-ups of BC Golf’s Boys and Girls Juvenile Championships played at Pitt Meadows’ Golden Eagle Golf Course in extreme summer heat conditions.
And we’re pleased to see yet another BC golfer on his way back to the PGA TOUR as Surrey’s Adam Svensson picked up another Korn Ferry Tour victory at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship.
