In this month’s Alberta edition of the Inside Golf Digital Magazine, our cover story features the further move for Alberta’s Golf Shows into a digital world. The PGA of Alberta’s manager of events, Ashley Van Kroonenburg spoke with our Gord Montgomery regarding this newest revelation, and what it might mean going forward.
There is also, unfortunately, the announcement from the PGA TOUR and Golf Canada along with title sponsor Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) that the RBC Canadian Open has been cancelled for the second consecutive year due to continuing issues with COVID-19.
Along with that we have the announcement by the USGA & The R&A regarding their rewriting of the Rules of Amateur Status for golf.
We also have a look at a few of 2021’s newest golf products, including Scotty Camderon’s latest line of putters and, while we’re at it, a look at whether double-hitting a putt is considered a penalty.
