Canadian Players Across Pro Tours, Week of February 15-21

Below is a list of how Canadian golfers fared across the major professional tours the week prior.

PGA TOUR

Max Homa missed a 3-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to send the Genesis Invitational  into a playoff before winning it on the second extra hole when Tony Finau failed to save par from a bunker. Homa, who grew up 30 miles from the Riviera golf course, played the final 26 holes without a bogey. The win also allowed Homa to break into the top 50 in the world for the first time, making him eligible for the World Golf Championship next week and it earned him a return invitation to the Masters. For Finau it was his 10th runner-up finish worldwide since winning the Puerto Rico Open five years ago. …Nick Taylor posted his second top 20 result in just over a month. …Adam Hadwin’s third round 70 was just one shot off the low round of the day… Mackenzie Hughes is a combined 20-under par in four tournament starts in 2021
