JACKSON, Michigan — Ultra-premium golf equipment startup MORE GOLF is set to shatter the rules with its first release: MOD-1 IRONS, MOD-1 WEDGES, and MOD-1 PUTTERS that will arrive in Spring 2021.
MOD-1 IRONS, MOD-1 WEDGES, and MOD-1 PUTTERS are 100% Billet-Milled and offer golfers 10 industry-first technologies. These technologies include a radical fully modular construction with the highest level of precision and customization ever accomplished in a golf club.
“Every so often, a new idea comes around and totally changes the face of an industry,” said MORE GOLF Founder and Designer Bruce Sizemore. “That’s what I believe a fully modular construction can do with golf clubs. We’ve reimagined the future of custom club fitting and what it means to be fully optimized as a golfer.”
The Only 100% American-Made, 14-Club Company
MORE GOLF is based in Jackson, Michigan, a city with a long history of manufacturing power and expertise. The MOD-1 IRONS, MOD-1 WEDGES, and MOD-1 PUTTERS were developed in close partnership with LOMAR Machine & Tool, a Jackson-area manufacturer and integrator of machines and precision parts for multiple industries including automotive, aerospace, medical, and military.
“A partnership like the one we have with LOMAR is rare in any industry, but almost unheard of in the golf world,” Sizemore added. “The MORE GOLF Design Studio is 10 minutes away from LOMAR and that gives us total control over every aspect of the design and manufacturing process. We are driven to be the only 100% American-made 14-club company, and we’re well on our way to that goal.”
Founding Fitter Program
The MOD-1 First Release Collection will include a limited number of MOD-1 IRON sets, MOD-1 WEDES, and MOD-1 PUTTERS, all of which will denote their distinction as “First Release.” Pricing starts at $427 for assembled MOD-1 Irons and Wedges and $447 for assembled MOD-1 Putters.
