For the 2nd straight year, the BRAD GARSIDE OPEN at Morgan Creek was a tale of two stories -- a sudden death playoff to declare the Overall Champion and a rise of BC junior talent at the top of the leaderboard.

In the Overall Championship, it took a birdie on the 2nd extra hole for PGA TOUR Canada Pro Kevin Stinson of Mission, BC to win outright over Chilliwack Golf Club Pro Brad Clapp. Both professionals shot scores of 66 (-6) on the day to oust VGT’s largest ‘Open’ field in its 7 year history (112 players).

Wong Wins Again At Great Waterway Classic On CanTour

(Gananoque, Ont., - September 9, 2012) - Eugene Wong of North Vancouver, B.C. continued his hot streak Sunday, claiming the 2012 Great Waterway Classic just two weeks after his first career professional victory at the Canadian Tour Championship and a week after capturing the Vancouver Open on the Vancouver Golf Tour.

Wong fired a final round 6-under 65 to edge two-time Canadian Tour winner Daniel Im of La Mirada, CA and claim his second consecutive Canadian Tour win by a single shot.
 
The 21-year old shot four-under 32 on the final nine, and birdied the 16th to secure the victory.

Eugene Wong Wins Vancouver Open For Second Straight Victory As A Pro

Eugene Wong won his second tournament in as many weeks on Sunday after another shocking finish on the final hole.

Wong, who picked up his first career win on the Canadian Tour in dramatic fashion with a holed shot for eagle on the final hole last weekend, shot nine-under-par 63 at the Vancouver Open to finish the 54-hole tournament at 13 under, one shot ahead of Scott Stiles of Calgary.
 
Late On Sunday afternoon at Fraserview Golf Course -- the 22-year-old from North Vancouver watched from behind the 18th green as the tournament leader, Scott Stiles, chunked his approach shot into the ravine in front of the closing hole.
 
"Unbelievable," Wong said. "I guess that's golf. I really don't know what to say."

Zibrik And Bernakevitch Come From Behind To Take Home 2012 Pro-Pro Championship

Kelowna, B.C. - (August 14, 2012) - The team of Dave Zibrik (Seymour Creek Golf Centre) and Lindsay Bernakevitch (Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club) blistered Tower Ranch Golf & Country Club over the past two days to win the 2012 PING Golf PGA of BC Pro-Pro Championship.

The two Class "A" Professionals found themselves two shot behind the overnight leaders after an impressive seven-under par 65 in the Best Ball format on Monday.
 
They continued their fine play on Tuesday, firing ten birdies and an eagle en route to an eleven-under par 61 in Tuesday's scramble format, claiming the victory by three shots over the team of Kevin Maxwell (Olympic View Golf Club) and Bill Kelly (Glacier Greens Golf Club).
